This Privacy Policy explains how Issa Compass collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal data when you use our website, web app, iOS app, messaging, consultations, and Bangkok office. If you apply for a job or internship, see the candidate privacy notice.
This policy covers processing under the Thailand Personal Data Protection Act, the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act, and the GDPR where those laws apply.

2. What we collect
We collect the personal data needed to provide the service:
- Identity and account details (name, email, login).
- Visa and case information you enter.
- Documents you upload, such as passport pages, photographs, proof of funds, and other files a visa type requires. Some of this is sensitive under Thai law (for example health or criminal records when a visa needs them, or data about dependents you include).
- Payment amounts and identifiers. We do not store full card numbers.
- Messages and consultation records on the communication systems we use to serve your case.
- Device, cookie, and usage data, as described in section 8.
We collect this from you, from cookies and similar tools, from payment providers, from messaging platforms you use, and from government portals when you ask us to file.
3. How we use it
We use personal data to create and run your account, advise on and prepare your visa or related filing, review documents, take payment, process refunds where the Terms of Service require it, message you about the case, file with authorities, run consultations, reply to website forms, measure the site, and meet legal duties. We use automated tools to check documents you upload. A person remains accountable for filings.
We rely on the contract with you (or steps before a contract), the extra basis Thai law requires for sensitive data used for your visa, consent for marketing and non-essential cookies, and legal obligation or legitimate interests for records, security, and disputes. We do not sell personal information.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal data with assigned legal and operations teams and contractor advisors under confidentiality; with service providers who host the platform, process payments, send messages, run analytics and advertising, and operate the service; with Thai Immigration, the electronic visa portal, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the embassy or consulate for your filing; and with courts, regulators, police, or professional advisers when the law requires it.
5. International transfers
Personal data is stored primarily in Singapore and accessed in Singapore and Thailand. Some providers process data in other countries. We use the contracts and other safeguards those laws require. Filings go to the authority in its country.
6. How long we keep it
We keep personal data as long as needed for the service, payments and refunds (including the money-back guarantee in the Terms of Service), tax, disputes, and other legal duties. Close your account in the Issa Compass iOS app or at app.issacompass.com, or email privacy@issacompass.com. On close we delete your account and files except records we must keep, including payment and refund records. Authorities keep copies they already received. Asking us to stop marketing is not account closure.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to access or copy your personal data, correct it, delete or restrict it, object to some processing, withdraw consent, or receive it in a structured form.
Email privacy@issacompass.com or write to the addresses in section 1. We will verify it is you and respond in the time the law requires. You can also complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission in Singapore, the Personal Data Protection Committee in Thailand, or, where the GDPR applies, a data protection authority in the EEA.
8. Cookies
We use necessary cookies to run the site and keep you logged in. Analytics and advertising cookies run only after you accept them or turn those categories on. Change this at any time from Cookie settings in the footer.
9. Children
Our services are for people aged 18 or over. If you include a child or other dependent in a visa file, you must have the legal authority to do so.
10. Changes
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The effective date at the top will change. Material changes will be posted on this page.
