Sunset Social at Asoke Sports Club: pickleball, volleyball, and a Friday skyline

On Friday 14 August 2026 we hosted the second event in our Sunset Social series at Asoke Sports Club. The brief was an active night rather than another mixer: two outdoor pickleball courts on the roof, indoor beach volleyball, a DJ from 18:30, and room to stay later on the terrace.
Doors were 18:00 to 20:00, with play running through the evening. Capacity sat around 90 people and rose to 100 on the day. We ran the night with Theory of Momentum. Wristbands put guests on rotating teams so beginners got court time and regulars did not hold a court all night.
The roof looks over Sukhumvit. Courts sit on blue sport flooring with Asoke Sports Club deck chairs along the glass. Indoors, the sand court took the overflow when the roof filled. That split is what the photos show: skyline pickleball at dusk, then volleyball under the hall lights.
