Marketing Intern Pakaporn Siksamarth Hosts UniHack 2026, Chula Tech Startup's Nationwide Hackathon

Issa Compass is proud to share that Pakaporn Siksamarth, Marketing Intern, is a member of the Activity Planner Team for UniHack 2026, the nationwide hackathon organized by Chula Tech Startup (CUTS), Chulalongkorn University's largest startup builder community since 2016. Its mission is grooming successful startup entrepreneurs by creating a startup lab that brings out the greatest potential of Thai university students, running workshops, talks, competitions, and an incubator program that has helped its students build startups across fintech, health tech, logistics, and more.
As part of the Activity Planner Team, Pakaporn helped lead the 3-day final hackathon itself, from setting the judging criteria and shaping the flow of the programming, to sourcing mentors, speakers, and judges and arranging the MC, everything behind the scenes that keeps a hackathon running smoothly.
This year's UniHack hackathon challenged high school and university students from across the country to move from idea to prototype in three intensive days, with the theme AI & Safety asking teams to design practical solutions to scams and call-center fraud, a problem costing people billions each year, using AI, community reporting, or other innovative approaches. It's a timely brief, and heartening to see such bright young talent already thinking seriously about how to protect people from it. Issa Compass is delighted to see Pakaporn take on such a visible role in bringing the next generation of entrepreneurs into the spotlight, and couldn't be prouder of an intern so invested in the community she's part of.
