Co-founder Aaron Lectures on Go-to-Market and Customer Love at Chulalongkorn Thinc.
Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok·02 Nov 2026
Building a startup is less about a perfect pitch and more about earning the trust of the first people who believe in you. That idea sat at the center of a guest lecture by Aaron Yip, Co-founder of Issa Compass, for Chulalongkorn University's Thinc. club, where he spoke on entrepreneurship, go-to-market, and how companies like Issa Compass build a community of customer love.
Drawing on the early grind of finding the first customers, from friends and network to walking into stores and outbound outreach, Aaron walked students through what business development looks like in practice for a young company. The through-line was care: listen closely, show up for people, and treat every early customer as the start of a community worth protecting, the same instinct that shapes how Issa Compass serves people navigating visas and life in Thailand.
Issa Compass is grateful to Thinc. for the invitation and for welcoming Aaron into a room of builders already thinking seriously about making an impact. Issa Compass thanks the students for their energy and questions, and looks forward to seeing what they build next.
