Thailand Privilege for family

Last verified September 2026

Add family to Privilege. Only some tiers allow it.

TPC calls extra cards Next Members. Bronze and Gold cannot add family. Platinum, Diamond, and Reserve can, for an extra membership fee per person, with proof of relationship.

Family add-on

Last verified September 2026

Which Privilege tiers can add a spouse, child, or parent?

Extra family members are not a free dependent visa. Each Next Member pays a separate TPC membership fee (VAT included). Fees follow the primary card. TPC can change prices and who qualifies.

Primary tierCan add family?Extra fee per person
Bronze (5 years)NoNot offered
Gold (5 years)NoNot offered
Platinum (10 years)Yes1,000,000 THB
Diamond (15 years)Yes1,500,000 THB

TPC sometimes runs Next Member promotions at a flat rate. Ask what is on offer before you pay the standard extra-card fee.

Who qualifies

Who can be a Next Member on Thailand Privilege?

TPC accepts a legitimate spouse, child, parent, legally adopted child, or civil union partner of the main member. Proof is a marriage or birth certificate, with an English translation. Applicants under 20 also need a copy of the parent's passport.

Spouse or civil union partner

marriage or civil-union certificate, English translation

Child

birth certificate, English translation. Under 20: also a copy of the parent's passport

Parent of the main member

relationship proof TPC currently accepts for that tier

Same PE visa

Next Members receive a Privilege Entry visa aligned with the primary membership, not a work visa

No work

dependents cannot use Privilege to apply for a Thai work permit

Documents

What extra documents does a Privilege dependent need?

Each Next Member still needs the personal set TPC uses for a primary applicant, plus relationship proof. Issa Compass checks both files before they go through the agent portal so a missing translation does not stall TPC due diligence.

The Issa process

How does Issa Compass file a Privilege dependent?

Issa Compass files the additional member through the same TPC agent portal as the primary card. The Issa money-back guarantee covers the Issa service fee on a pre-qualified dependent file that immigration does not approve. Next Member membership fees stay with TPC.

Tier check

we confirm the primary card can actually add family before you pay an extra-card fee

Document review

relationship certificates and translations are checked against TPC's current list

Joint filing

additional-member and core-member forms are completed together in the agent portal

Affixation

dependents follow the same Chaeng Wattana, airport, or embassy booking rules as the main member

Money-back

Issa service fee refunded if a pre-qualified application is not approved. TPC fees are not refunded by Issa

Next Member fees are paid to Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd., not to Issa. You can add family directly with TPC. Issa Compass is a registered Individual Sales Agent and is not Thai Immigration or TPC.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

No. Gold and Bronze are single-member packages. To add a spouse, child, or parent you need Platinum, Diamond, or Reserve (invitation only), plus the extra Next Member fee.
Next Members are tied to the primary membership. Stay per entry is still 1 year on a Privilege Entry visa. The membership term follows the primary tier. Confirm the exact contract language with TPC or Issa Compass before you pay.
No. The PE visa does not allow a work permit application for the main member or for Next Members. If a spouse needs to work, look at SMART O (when the principal holds SMART S), Non-B, or an LTR dependent path.
Yes. TPC runs due diligence on additional members. Timeline is typically about 4 weeks, or about 12 weeks for special-consideration nationalities. Issa cannot expedite TPC's check.
Family cards are filed with, or after, the primary membership. Issa Compass sequences the portal forms so the additional member is not submitted against a tier that cannot take family.
The Issa service fee on a pre-qualified dependent file that immigration does not approve. TPC Next Member fees and government charges are not refunded by Issa. Certain countries or territories are excluded.

Issa Guarantee
